The Wings of Grace is the compassionate arm of EM Global Wings Foundation, embodying the heart of Christ’s love and mercy. The name draws inspiration from the image of God’s protective and nurturing wings, symbolizing His unending grace and care for humanity.
The theme for Wings of Grace initiative is beautifully captured in –
Matthew 25:35-36 (NIV):
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in. I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
This word reflects the core mission of the initiative—to serve Christ by serving those in need, extending love, grace, and compassion to the least among us. It underscores the foundation’s commitment to being the hands and feet of Jesus in a world yearning for His touch.

Training Programs on Mindset Shift, Civil and Human Rights
This initiative focuses on empowering individuals by shifting mindsets towards self-reliance and personal growth, rooted in spiritual principles. Through transformative training programs, we empower communities by shifting mindsets and promoting civil and human rights. These programs aim to foster positive change, ensuring that individuals understand their rights in national and international legal and equity frameworks, embrace their responsibilities, and contribute to a more just and equitable society.
In 2024, the youth unemployment rate in Kenya was estimated to be 67%. This is the highest unemployment rate in the country, which is made up of 35% youth, with many young people lacking the necessary skills and mindset to access opportunities. This initiative addresses this gap by educating communities on their rights and how to engage effectively with national policies, while also promoting economic self-reliance.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” Hosea 4:6 – Knowledge and understanding are key to empowerment, and this initiative is dedicated to equipping individuals with the tools they need for positive transformation.
Education Support
We believe in empowering the next generation through education. By providing scholarships, school supplies, establishing schools, and offering mentorship, we are equipping young minds to break the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future. Education is a cornerstone of community transformation.
In Kenya, 43% of children are still out of school, with poverty being one of the leading barriers to education (UNICEF). This initiative seeks to address this, particularly for marginalized communities, by providing financial support and resources that foster equal educational opportunities for all.
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6– Through education, we shape future generations, ensuring they thrive in their walk with Christ.
Shelter & Housing Projects
Our Shelter & Housing Projects aim to provide safe, dignified living spaces for vulnerable families. We believe in restoring hope and dignity by addressing the critical need for affordable housing, ensuring that everyone has a place to call home.
Kenya’s housing deficit is estimated at over 2 million units, with many families living in substandard conditions. This initiative aims to bridge this gap by providing safe and affordable housing for those in need, helping families to thrive and grow in dignity.
“In my Father’s house are many mansions…” John 14:2 – A home is a place of peace, and this initiative strives to offer that peace to vulnerable families.
Poverty Eradication Mindsets
Poverty eradication starts with a change in mindset. Through community engagement and education, we inspire individuals to rise above their circumstances, creating economic opportunities and self-sustaining livelihoods. This initiative promotes economic growth and personal empowerment, ensuring communities are capable of lifting themselves from poverty.
According to World Bank data, 34.8% of Kenya’s population lives below the poverty line, struggling with inadequate resources. By changing mindsets and promoting entrepreneurship, we can break this cycle and foster a community of self-reliant individuals.
“For I know the plans I have for you… plans to give you a hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 – This initiative is rooted in hope, encouraging individuals to transform their circumstances.
Clothing and Essentials Distribution
The Clothing and Essentials Distribution program aims to provide basic necessities for individuals and families in need. By distributing clothing, hygiene items, and essentials, we are meeting immediate needs while restoring dignity and hope.
In Kenya, approximately 30% of the population lives in extreme poverty, often without access to basic necessities. This initiative ensures that those in need receive the essentials for daily living, restoring dignity to individuals and families.
“If you have two coats, give one to the poor.” Luke 3:11 – By sharing our abundance, we act in accordance with God’s call to serve the poor and vulnerable.
Community Development Projects
Our Community Development Projects focus on building stronger, more resilient communities. From infrastructure improvements to skills development, we create opportunities for self-sufficiency, ensuring that communities are empowered to thrive and grow sustainably.
Kenya has seen a rapid urbanization rate of 4.2% annually, and this puts pressure on infrastructure. Our community development projects focus on providing sustainable solutions to infrastructure challenges and helping communities become self-sufficient.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 – Empowering communities to rebuild and grow, one step at a time, through faith and action.
Women and Youth Empowerment
Empowering women and youth is at the heart of our mission. Through training, mentorship, job placements, and resource provision, we enable young people and women to take their rightful place in society. This initiative fosters leadership, self-reliance, and equal opportunities, giving them the tools to succeed.
Kenya has an estimated 30% female labor force participation, while youth unemployment remains a significant challenge. This initiative seeks to empower women and youth by providing them with skills, opportunities, and leadership roles, helping them become active contributors to society.
“She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.” Proverbs 31:26 – Empowering women and youth to lead with wisdom and grace.
Care for the Sick and Elderly
The Care for the Sick and Elderly program is dedicated to providing compassionate care to the vulnerable. By offering housing for the elderly, hospital ministrations, sourcing funds for medical care, emotional support, and practical assistance, we ensure that the elderly and the sick are not left behind but are cared for with dignity and respect.
In Kenya, approximately majority of the elderly population lives in poverty, and many lack proper healthcare. This program ensures that those in need receive care, medical support, and a compassionate environment.
“Honor your father and your mother…” Exodus 20:12 – We are called to care for the elderly, offering them the honor and care they deserve.
Clean Water and Sanitation Projects
Access to clean water and sanitation is a fundamental human right. Our Clean Water and Sanitation Projects focus on providing safe drinking water and improving sanitation facilities in underserved communities. By addressing these basic needs, we help prevent disease and improve the overall health of the community.
Kenya faces a water access deficit, with over 16 million people lacking access to clean water. Our initiatives aim to provide clean water and sanitation, improving public health and reducing waterborne diseases.
“Anyone who is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.” John 7:37 – Meeting the basic needs of the body while fostering spiritual growth and well-being.
Community Worship and Fellowship
Worship is a vital part of spiritual growth. Through Community Worship and Fellowship, we unite believers for powerful times of prayer, worship, and fellowship, strengthening their faith and encouraging one another in their walk with Christ. This initiative is designed to be implemented in every county in Kenya, building worshiping communities.
Kenya has a rich tradition of Christian faith, with over 80% of the population identifying as Christian. This initiative seeks to unite believers, fostering a culture of worship and mutual support across the nation.
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20 – Encouraging fellowship and the strengthening of faith through collective worship.
Partnerships and Collaborations
Our work is strengthened through partnerships and collaborations with like-minded organizations, government institutions, corporates, churches, and individuals. By joining hands with others, we expand our reach and impact, ensuring that more lives are touched with the love and hope of Christ.
Kenya’s collaborative efforts in addressing social issues have shown that partnerships are key to driving large-scale change. Through these collaborations, we can amplify our impact and work together for the betterment of our communities.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.” Ecclesiastes 4:9 – Partnerships enhance our collective efforts to serve God’s people effectively.
